I would like to acknowledge that his contribution to SAATA and ITAA is commendable and invaluable.  SAATA is his brain child and I would like to put forth all that he has laboured for it in the past 16 years of its existence: It was his idea to create a regional body to hold the TA community in India. He authored the SAATA By-laws.  He was  the founder VP of Research and publication.  He’s been the secretary of SAATA formally from 2012-2016 and then 2018 -2022 (and informally always:) The idea of awards, both Professional Excellence and Service was his idea., along with putting down the guidelines.  He  along with Susan worked and created the procedure of the SAATA Diploma exam. Has been part of the scientific committee for Conferences ensuring quality of the workshops offered. He has been Instrumental in the operational aspects of the conferences too. Has  been the record keeper of all SAATA documents and minutes.
